I am a mom of 3 married to an amazing man who happens to be a doctor. I only say this because it is what he has learned and what he teaches his patients that brought me to starting this blog. We have been a gluten free, dairy free family for just over two years now and wow has it made a difference.
I love to cook! I love everything about cooking even the dreadful "What's for dinner?" question is something I look forward to. Well something I usually look forward to, we all have our days of wanting to run from the kitchen screaming "FEND FOR YOURSEVES!!!" The day my husband and I decided why gluten free would be a good change for us I thought my days of enjoying the kitchen were over. As I began the journey of trying to find something to eat I stumbled upon a great blog, Gluten Free Goddess! She has helped me get started and has been an inspiration.
Just recently I bought myself a KitchenAid! I was ecstatic! Not only did I finally get my KitchenAid but it is green. My all time favorite color!! I know that my experiments will take on a new level of fun with this machine. I will also have the time to try new things since the mixing and kneading is done for me, very important with three kids under 4 running around causing havoc daily. I could never get a loaf of bread kneaded with out washing off my hands 10 times. So, the baking and cooking was kept to my designated dinner prep time only.
So with my KitchenAid at my side I am ready to take the journey of being your Gluten Free Kitchen Aid.
